There has been significant change in how people conduct their banking. To open a bank account, one no longer needs to step outside of their comfort zone and wait in line. The account is ready by simply grabbing a phone, tapping it, and sharing the Aadhaar and PAN along with some basic information.
A savings account with zero balance is just like any other bank account. The only difference is that the customer is not required to keep a minimum account balance. Customers who want to enjoy the advantages of a savings bank account without having to worry about keeping a minimum balance should opt for this option.
With the digital banking app Kotak811, customers can open a zero-balance online savings account in just five minutes. The steps to opening an online account are listed below.
How to open an online zero-balance savings account
Open either the mobile banking app or the official bank website. After that, enter your mobile number to begin the process.
Step 2: Complete all of the information, including the name, DOB, and ID proof number. The account opening procedure can be completed online from any location without having to physically visit the bank.
Step 3: As a means of proving one’s identity, keep all of the necessary documents, such as a passport, voter’s card, Pan card, or Aadhaar card, close at hand. In addition, two passport-sized photographs are required.
