The Election Commission has launched a mobile app that lets you download your voter ID card. Voter identification cards are frequently accepted as proof of identity. They can serve as proof of your identity and address almost everywhere.
You can simply keep the guard on your phone and display it whenever necessary if you don’t want to keep it in person. You can save the digital voter card in the following manner.
In order to store your ID card in digital lockers like Digilocker, you must keep it in PDF format. Your mobile phones must be linked to your voter ID cards in order to use Digital Voter ID.
As a result, users of your digital lockers will be required to complete the KYC update. After that, you can only download your voter ID cards.
The procedure for downloading your Digilocker digital voter card is as follows.
Step 1: Go to https://eci.gov.in/e-epic/.
Step 2: Select the “Download e-EPIC” choice.
Step 3: The button to download EPIC is at the top of the page.
Step 4: Enter your login information.
Step 5: Create one using your mobile phone if you do not already have one.
Step 6: Select eEPIC to download.
Step 7: Enter your unique EPIC number of ten digits.
Step 8: We’ll check the details. After that, your digital voter ID card will appear.
Step 9: An OTP will be sent to you. Confirm it.
Step 10: Download the PDF version of your digital ID card.
