Apple iPhone 13 series
Like every year, Apple is expected to announce its next-generation iPhones in September. We don’t have an exact launch date yet, but leaks and rumours suggest it could happen on September 14.
The Apple iPhone 13 series is rumoured to include four models — iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Apart from the obvious improvements like new A15 Bionic chipset, improved camera and batteries, Apple is also rumoured to introduce a smaller notch this time. Also, the Pro variants can feature a high-refresh rate display.
Apple AirPods 3rd generation
The third-generation is long due from Apple. The company is expected to launch the next Apple AirPods in September, but it isn’t happening alongside the iPhones. Rumours suggest that Apple will hold another event on September 30 to announce the next generation AirPods. Fingers crossed!
Google’s ‘Apple iPhone 13 rivals’, Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones
Google is said to be planning to steal Apple’s thunder with the launch of Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones just a day before the iPhone 13 series launch. Apple iPhone 13 series is widely expected to launch on September 14. Reports suggest that Google may launch its flagship devices on September 13.
The company has already revealed quite a few details of the upcoming Pixel 6 duo. They come in an all-new design and will be powered by the company’s own Tensor SoC. The new lineup is said to be equipped with a triple rear camera setup and feature high refresh rate display. It does remain to be seen if Google brings these high-end phones to India or not.
OnePlus 9RT smartphone
OnePlus seems set to continue its tradition of launching T-series smartphones in the second-half of the year. Reports suggest that OnePlus will launch T version of OnePlus 9R in September. OnePlus 9R is the most-affordable 9 series smartphone. OnePlus’ T series smartphones have always brought enhanced features to the original device, OnePlus 9RT is speculated to continue the tradition. Reports suggest that it will feature a 50MP sensor.
OnePlus Buds Lite TWS earbuds
OnePlus is also expected to announce a slightly toned-down version of its recently launched OnePlus Buds Pro (review). Speculations suggest that the earbuds will feature ANC, but at a more affordable price tag. The upcoming OnePlus are said to be a mix of the entry-level OnePlus Buds and the recently-launched OnePlus Buds Pro.
Google JioPhone NXT smartphone
Reliance JioPhone NXT will launch on September 10. It is claimed to be the most-affordable 4G-enabled Android smartphone in India. The smartphone is likely to be powered by an entry-level Qualcomm chip and come with 2GB RAM and up to 64GB storage.
The JioPhone Next will sport a single lens camera at the back with 13MP sensor along with an 8MP camera on the front for selfies. The default camera app will be Google Camera Go.
Vivo X70 smartphone series
Vivo is expected to launch its next generation of Vivo X70 series smartphones globally in September. The lineup will include three smartphones — Vivo X70, Vivo X70 Pro and Vivo X70 Pro+. The new smartphones from Vivo are said to arrive with a new camera module with Zeiss optics, updated internals and other improvements over its predecessor.
Asus Zenfone 8 smartphone
It has been a while since Asus announced its Zenfone 8 smartphone globally. The company has already confirmed the smartphone for India and it is likely to launch in September this year. It’s a compact flagship smartphone from the company that features a 5.9-inch FHD+ 120Hz display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The smartphone will be available with 16GB RAM and 265GB storage.
Samsung Galaxy S21FE 5G smartphone
Samsung is also rumoured to announce the Fan Edition of Galaxy S21. The user manual of the smartphone has surfaced online that suggests IP68 water and dust resistance rating, high-refresh rate display, a similar design as the Galaxy S21 and more.
Realme 8s smartphone
Realme 8s will also join the Realme 8i launch on September 9 and this one is the world’s first to run on MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset. Based on the leaks and rumours, the smartphone will feature a triple rear camera setup, 90Hz display and comes with up to 8GB RAM.
Realme 8i smartphone
Realme has announced that it is set to launch Realme 8i on September 9. The smartphone will succeed Realme 7i. Realme is touting the smartphone as India’s first smartphone to be powered by MediaTek G96SoC. Expected features of the smartphone includes 120Hz refresh rate, a triple rear camera setup and bigger battery with fast charging support.
Realme Pad tablet
Realme is set to enter the tablet segment in India. device for the Indian market, Realme Pad. Which by the way will launch in the same event as Realme 8i and Realme 8s. Realme has been teasing its tablet ever since as well as the rumour mill. Based on them, the Pad is expected to feature a slim form factor, a 10.4-inch display and a MediaTek processor.
