Prime Video today announced the global streaming premiere of the Telugu action-drama Maama Maschindra. The film will exclusively stream in India and across 240 countries and territories worldwide on October 20 in Telugu.
Maama Maschindra revolves around Parasuram (Sudheer Babu) who portrays three different characters in the film. His childhood trauma impacts his life making him a self-centered man, who wants nothing more than to safeguard his daughter and get rid of any threat. The story further develops where Parasuram learns that his mother’s property is with his maternal uncle, whom he manages to impress and thus marries his daughter. In his determination to gain complete access and eliminate any threats, he takes on his brother-in-law’s family. The events that follow, his change of heart and transformation, makes for an engaging watch.
Maama Maschindra is a part of Prime Video’s festive line-up for the Great Indian Festival 2023. The line-up also includes several other original series and blockbuster movies across multiple languages.
Written and directed by Harsha Vardhan, Mama Maschindra also stars Ajay and Sudheer Babu Posani in crucial roles. Actors including Mirnalini Ravi, Dayanand Reddy, Rajeev Kanakala, Hari Teja and Ali Reza are also seen in pivotal roles.
The film is produced by Narayan Das Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banner of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas, Srishti Celluloid banners. The music has been composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj, and the cinematography of the film has been handled by PG Vinda.
