Harley-Davidson has dropped the teaser for a new Sportster variant, which will be unveiled on April 12, 2022. The new variant of the Harley-Davidson Sportster is expected to sit below the Sportster S, and going by the teaser images of the bike, it looks markedly different as well.
To begin with, the new bike gets a circular headlight with a bikini fairing that is unlike the modern-looking rectangular LED headlight on the ‘S’ model. Other changes visible at the front include a larger alloy wheel shod with thinner tyres. From the side, there appears to be a revised riding position that seems to be more comfortable than the ‘S’.
The Revolution Max, liquid-cooled engine can be seen as well, with a low-slung exhaust pipe unlike the side mounted units. It is unclear if Harley-Davidson will offer the Revolution Max 1250 or the 975 on this lower spec Sportster. Other differences on the new variant include a curved fender and twin shock absorbers instead of a monoshock.
This new Sportster model is priced at ₹ 15.51 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
