HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRITHVIRAJ SUKUMARAN: Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran celebrates his birthday today, October 16. His career began in 2002 with Ranjith Balakrishnan’s romance drama Nandanam. Sukumaran got the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam in 2011 for his film Indian Rupee. He is married to Supriya Menon, with whom he has a daughter named Alankrita Menon Prithviraj. The actor was most recently seen in Shaji Kailas’s Kaduva (2022). Meanwhile, fans of Bollywood remember him as the beautiful hunk in Rani Mukherji’s Aiyyaa.

  1. Nandanam (2002)Prithviraj Sukumaran made his screen debut in Ranjith’s 2002 film Nandanam. It wasn’t the first film that Prithviraj Sukumaran signed, but Nandanam was the one that was released first.
  2. Classmates (2006)Classmates is a coming-of-age romantic comedy-drama directed by Lal Jose. The film has become something of a cult classic. In addition to Sukumaran, the film featured Kavya Madhavan, Jayasurya, Narain, and Sukumaran’s brother, Indrajith Sukumaran. Additionally, Kerala State Film Awards for Best Story and Best Popular Film were given to it.
  3. Ayalum Njanum Thammil (2012)Producer Prem Prakash collaborated with director Lal Jose to helm the film. Narain, Samvrutha Sunil, Pratap Pothen, and Prithviraj Sukumaran are among the cast members.
  4. Memories (2013)The cast of the Malayalam crime thriller Memories includes Meghana Raj, Prithviraj Sukumaran, S.P. Sreekumar, Miya, and Vijay Raghavan. Jeethu Joseph wrote the script and directed the movie.
  5. Celluloid (2013)Prithviraj portrayed JC Daniel in the movie Celluloid, which is about the father of the Malayalam cinema industry. The movie, which starred Chandni Geetha, Mamta Mohandas, and Sreenivasan as well, won the National Best Film Award for the year.
  6. Kaaviya Thalaivan (2014)The historical fiction film, which is directed by Vasanthbalan, centres on a theatrical company and its two starring characters, Siddharth and Prithviraj. This is Prithviraj’s most memorable film, with fantastic music composed by AR Rahman.
  7. Ennu Ninte Moideen (2015)Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathi Thirovothu feature in the biographical love drama Ennu Ninte Moideen (Yours Truly, Moideen). R. S. Vimal wrote and directed the movie, which is based on the lives of B.P. Moideen and Kachanamala.
  8. AK Ayyappanum Koshiyum (2020)Malayalam action thriller Ayyappanum Koshiyum (Ayyappan and Koshi) is written and directed by K R Sachidanandan. Biju Menon and Prithviraj Sukumaran appeared in the movie.
  9. Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire (2023)Actor Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran will be seen together in Salaar. The KGF franchise director, Prashanth Neel, is directing the huge action thriller in Telugu. The movie is slated to debut in theatres on December 22, 2023.
  10. Chote Miyan Bade Miyan (2023)Prithviraj Sukumaran has secured a fourth Hindi film deal. In Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the key parts, the actor plays the antagonist Kabir. Ali Abbas Zafar, a renowned director, is directing this movie.
