Gurmeet Choudhary, known for his roles in TV, films, addressed the criticism and admitted that his wife, Debina Bonnerjee, feels terrible about the accusations.
Actors Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee have gained new fans through their YouTube vlogs. While they receive praise, they’ve also been criticised for allegedly favouring one of their daughters over the other. In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Gurmeet spoke about these claims for the first time. Gurmeet, known for his roles in TV, films, and streaming shows, addressed the criticism and admitted that his wife, Debina, feels terrible about the accusations. Gurmeet and Debina have two daughters, Lianna and Divisha, both born in the same year.
Reacting to it being accused of being partial to Divisha, Gurmeet said, “Debina certainly feels bad about it. How can people ever imagine that a mother would be partial to one of her kids? Only fools could even think this way. Debina feels bad about it, but I tell her that these people are jobless, they don’t think before posting on social media, and what they say shouldn’t affect our lives.”
Gurmeet revealed that he has trained himself to ignore negative comments online. He chooses to focus on the positive feedback and the love from his fans. He said, “Why subject yourself to stuff like that at all?”
Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary welcomed their second daughter Divisha in November 2022. Back then, Gurmeet took to Instagram to share the news with fans and wrote, “Welcome our baby girl into the world. As ecstatic as we are becoming parents again, we appreciate some privacy at this time as our baby has come into the world sooner than due. Keep blessing and showering your continued love.” Later, talking about her daughter, Debina had revealed that she is ‘very tiny and delicate’ which makes her worry about her. She had also shared that she does not let anyone touch her baby girl and added that her massage is also done by her grandmother only.
