Good news is coming for retired people in 2022. The government has endorsed to credit their expanded Dearness Relief (DR) to their benefits account. This will help crores of retired people. The govt has requested that the banks begin working out the annuity to the beneficiaries whose dearness help has been expanded appropriately. Banks need not hang tight for the sets of the concerned division.
As per Satish Kumar Garg, Senior Accounts Officer, Central Pension Accounting Office, banks need to deliver assets to Central Civil Pensioners, Freedom Fighters (SSS Yojana), Justices of the Supreme Court, Members of Parliament and different retired people at the soonest.
This will incorporate the increment that their specializations have set up. Those divisions have effectively given requests in such manner. If the Pension Drawing Bank has not gotten the request, then, at that point, it can get its data on their entry.

The Ministry of Home Affairs had given directions on 28 July 2021, which is in regards to giving 29% dearness alleviation to thefreedom fighter pensioners with impact from 1 July 2021.
How much annuity will you get now?
The annuity of Ex-Andaman Political pensioners/spouses has been expanded from Rs.30,000 per month to Rs.38,700.
Freedom Fighters who were victims outside India. They will be given annuity expanded from Rs 28,000 to Rs 36,120 every month.
Other pfreedom fighters including INA will get 33,540 months benefits expanded from 26,000.
SDependent guardian / eligible daughter will get benefits expanded from Rs 15,000 to Rs 19,350 every month.
