The producers of Game Changer have filed a criminal case against the song leak from the film starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani.
Ram Charan’s upcoming film with Kiara Advani, Game Changer made headlines recently after a 30-second audio clip of one of the film’s songs was leaked online. Although it hasn’t been found out who leaked the song, the makers of the film have decided to not let this pass by. They have filed an FIR against the leak of the song. The name of the song has been revealed by the makers as Jaragandi Jaragandi.
Sri Venkateswara Creations, the production house backing the film, took to X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday to reveal that a criminal case has been filed against the song’s leak. They shared the FIR copy and court notice sheet with the caption, “A criminal case has been filed under IPC 66(C) against the people who leaked the contents of our film #GameChanger. We request you to refrain from spreading the inferior quality content which has been illegally leaked.”

For the unversed, a short audio clip of the film’s song was leaked on social media on Friday. The clip soon went viral. It was reported that the song was shot with a budget of Rs. 15 crores. However, the film’s PR team maintained that the leak was from a basic version of the song and wasn’t the final edit.
The shooting of the film is going on in Chennai, and according to the rumours the song’s leak could have happened from there. A few weeks ago, some pictures were also leaked from the shooting of the film. They showed Kiara Advani in a thigh-high black dress standing on a beach and it looked like the shoot for a dance sequence. Some pictures featured Ram Charan in a black coat and white pants, surrounded by crew members on the beach. Reportedly, a copyright notice was issued to those who shared the pictures and they had to remove them.
Game Changer is being directed by S Shankar, marking his Telugu directorial debut. The cast of the film includes Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, Anjali, SJ Suryah, Jayaram Sunil, Srikanth, Samuthirakani and Nassar. The producers of the film are Dil Raju and Sirish for Sri Venkateswara Creations. Thaman S is handling the music in the film.
