Indri’s Diwali special whiskey collection is yet to be launched and there is a lot of excitement surrounding the launch of it
It was a great feat for India, as a homegrown whiskey label went on to win the title of the ‘Best in Show’ Double Gold award at the incredibly prestigious Whiskies of the World Awards in Dubai. This is a remarkable achievement that has put malts in India on the world map.
The Diwali Collector’s Edition 2023 is yet to be launched and will be out in the market at the onset of the next month according to speculation. However, with the award coming the brand’s way, whiskey connoisseurs from not just India but around the world are excited to see what it holds.
The brand took to their social media to announce the great news, the caption of their post read- “Indri Diwali Collector’s Edition 2023, crowned as the ‘Best Whisky in the World,’ claims the prestigious ‘Best in Show, Double Gold’ Award at the @whiskiesoftheworld. A triumph that elevates our spirits and inspires us to craft excellence sip by sip.”
If you are keen on understanding what the taste of this whiskey would be like, the brand’s website provides customers with a fit overview. The brand mentions, “This unique expression entices you with a whiff of smoke and awakens your senses to a myriad of flavours such as candied dried fruits, toasted nuts, subtle spices, oak, bittersweet chocolate and more.”
Their description also says, “Indri Diwali Collector’s Edition 2023 is a peated Indian single malt made with six-row barley, distilled in traditional copper pot stills crafted in India. When it comes to the price, going by the previous price ranges of whiskeys launched by the same brand, it can be expected that the price of this too will start from approximately Rs. 5,000 and beyond.
