Qualcomm announces its most powerful chipset for Android smartphones, Snapdragon 888+

During the MWC 2021 keynote, American chipmaker Qualcomm has unveiled the Snapdragon 888+ 5G, its most powerful mobile chipset yet. It is an upgraded version of the SD 888. Honor Magic3 series smartphones and phones from Asus, Motorola, Xiaomi and Vivo will get the new chipset in the second half of this year.

Battlegrounds Mobile launched in India

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is finally out of beta and is now available to download on Google Play Store. After being in early access beta for almost two weeks, Krafton has finally released BGMI. Early Access users of the BGMI will have to update the game from Google Play Store to install the final version on their smartphones. 


Amazon launches new Echo speakers with display; Echo Show 10, Echo Show 5 with 10 and 5-inch screens

Expanding its range of smart speakers in India, Amazon has announced two new devices — Echo Show 10 (Rs 24,999) and Echo Show 5 (Rs 8,999). As the name suggests, both smart speakers come with a display. The Echo Show 10 comes in black colour variant whereas the Echo Show 5 has three colour variants: black, blue and white.

Dell launches webcam with 4K capabilities and Windows Hello support at Rs 18,999

Dell introduced the UltraSharp Webcam (WB7022), an external 4K webcam for professionals, at a price tag of Rs 18,999. The webcam is meant to give a high-quality video conferencing experience. Dell claims that the UltraSharp Webcam provides the best image quality in its class of 4K webcam.

TCL C825 mini LED 4K TV with 1080p camera launched in India

TCL has launched its latest mini LED and QLED range of TVs in India. The new lineup includes the premium C825 mini LED QLED TV, which according to the company is the first mini LED TV in India. The prices of the TVs range from Rs 64,990-Rs 1,49,990.

Dyson launches its most-affordable vacuum cleaner, Omni-glide, at Rs 34,900

Dyson has expanded its vacuum cleaner category in India with the launch of Dyson Omni-glide. According to the company, the device is ideal for daily cleaning and comes with compact cord free design. Dyson claims that it has an omnidirectional Fluffy cleaner head that is able to glide in all directions — forwards, backwards and sideways.

Samsung Galaxy A22 with 5000mAh battery goes on sale at Rs 18,499

Samsung launched a new Galaxy A-series smartphone in India, called Galaxy A22. It comes in a single storage variant of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The MRP of the device is listed as Rs 20,499 on Samsung India website, but there is a discount of Rs 2,000, making its sale price Rs 18,499. This is the same price at which the model is selling in offline markets too. 

Realme enters personal grooming segment with beard trimmer and hairdryer

BBK-owned consumer technology brand Realme has expanded its product lineup in India with the launch of new products. Not only did the company make a debut in new product categories in the form of trimmers and a hairdryer, but it also made the first launches from its sub-brand Dizo. Overall, the company launched six new products. 

Tecno Spark Go 2021 with 6.5-inch HD+ display goes on sale at Rs 6,699

Tecno launched a new handset in the Spark series lineup called Spark Go 2021. The device is a typical budget offering and comes with dual rear camera, 5000mAh battery, HD+ display and more. The company has launched Spark Go 2021 in a single storage option. It offers 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It has been priced at Rs 7,299, however, as a special launch price it will be available at Rs 6,699.

Haier launches convertible top mounted refrigerators, price starts at Rs 55,000

Haier launched 17 new variants of its top mounted refrigerators in the 3-star range. The new variants come with the magic convertible feature that allows temperature to be controlled between a wide range of +7⁰C to -24⁰C. The prices range from Rs 55,000 to Rs 68,900. 

Airtel revamps AirtelOne, launches Airtel Black plan to ease subscribers billing troubles

This new service from Airtel combines postpaid, DTH and Fibre connection into one bill.Under the new Airtel Black plan, an Airtel customer can bundle two or more Airtel services (Fibre, DTH, Mobile) together to become Airtel Black subscriber. 

Vodafone-Idea launches new prepaid plans starting at Rs 99

Vodafone-Idea launched four new prepaid plans. The company has introduced Rs 99 and Rs 109 prepaid plans with unlimited voice calling and 1GB mobile data. Besides these, it also launched prepaid plan of Rs 267 and Rs 128 too. 

Reliance Jio Rs 3,499 prepaid plan launched with 3GB per day and 365 days validity

Reliance Jio launched a new annual plan for its prepaid users. Priced at Rs 3,499, the plan offers 3GB per day mobile data. It has a validity of 365 days.
