For security reasons, Employees’ Provident Fund Organization warns against sharing these informations: EPFO Alert

The government cautioned public not to succumb to tricks when con artists request individual data in return for administrations from EPFO, as Aadhaar and that's just the beginning.

The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has distributed a new ready for its individuals via web-based entertainment in the midst of an expansion in extortion cases. The EPFO has advised its individuals not to uncover any private data to anybody via telephone or via online entertainment through its Twitter account.

The government cautioned the public not to succumb to tricks when con artists request individual data in return for administrations from EPFO, for example, Aadhaar, PAN, UAN,Bank accounts, or OTP.


The PF association made plainly they never demand individual data by telephone, online entertainment, WhatsApp, and so forth. In a tweet from the association, it was said that “#EPFO never requests that its individuals share their own subtleties like Aadhaar, PAN, UAN, Bank Account or OTP via mobile or via social media.”

The EPFO added, “For any administrations, EPFO never requests to store any cash through WhatsApp, Social Media and so on.”

The EPFO has also cautioned its individuals not to answer to unwanted phone calls or messages mentioning individual data.

The EPFO individuals should know how to keep their internet based records secure. They should know that DigiLocker permits admittance to some EPFO administrations.

DigiLocker is a protected cloud-based stage for the sharing, stockpiling, and check of records and testaments. The application is accessible for download on iOS and Android devices.

The EPFO administrations presented by DigiLocker include:

1) UAN card

2) Pension Payment Order (PPO)

3) Scheme Certificate
