Flipkart HR head Krishna Raghavan quits

Krishna Raghavan, chief human resources officer at Walmart-owned Flipkart, is moving on from the company after a stint of over six years, according to sources. An internal announcement has also been made regarding Raghavan’s exit from the Bengaluru-based web retailer.

It isn’t immediately clear who will take up Raghavan’s position at the company. Typically, Flipkart runs a process for such senior roles.

Raghavan has been the chief people officer at Flipkart for nearly four years, prior to which he was the senior vice-president of engineering, fulfilment and services.

This was Raghavan’s second stint at the Walmart-owned firm, having been the vice-president for engineering, marketplace and catalogue between 2012 and 2016, according to his LinkedIn account. Raghavan was also chief technology officer at online travel aggregator Cleartrip between 2016 and 2017. Flipkart acquired Cleartrip in 2021.

A spokesperson for Flipkart did not immediately respond to ET’s request for a comment. The announcement comes just as the company concluded its Big Billion Days festive sale last week. ET reported on Monday about the robust sales e-commerce platforms Flipkart and Amazon saw during the first week of the festive season.
