SRK’s Deewangi Deewangi song became an instant hit.
Farah Khan revealed why Amitabh Bachchan, Raveena Tandon, Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu were not in the Deewangi Deewangi song.
Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan attended Dhirubai Ambani International School’s annual day event, where their daughter Aaradhya is a student. In one of the viral videos from the event, Abhishek and Aishwarya could be seen dancing along to the Deewangi Deewangi song from Shah Rukh Khan’s film Om Shanti Om. They were also joined by Amitabh Bachchan, who was supposed to be in the original song as well but had to refuse.
Earlier on The Kapil Sharma Show, Farah Khan revealed the reason why Amitabh Bachchan couldn’t be in the popular song. She said, “Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan were getting married that month, that’s what he told us.” Farah also added that Raveena Tandon couldn’t be in the song because she was pregnant at the time. Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu also opted out of the song due to unknown reasons.
As for the viral clip, several stars, who attended the function could be seen dancing to the hit song from Om Shanti Om. Aishwarya looked gorgeous in a black salwar which she teamed with a golden chunni. Abhishek on the other hand looked dapper in a blue shirt. The video also featured a glimpse of Amitabh Bachchan dancing his heart out to the hit track. He looked stylish in a printed black jacket. Among others, Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and Suhana Khan were also seen enjoying and dancing to the song. Watch it here:
Earlier in the day, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made the first public appearance with father-in-law, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, since reports about the latter allegedly unfollowing the actress on Instagram surfaced on the internet. Amitabh and Aishwarya were joined by Abhishek Bachchan and Agastya Nanda as they arrived at Aaradhya Bachchan’s school event and were snapped by the paparazzi.
