Rahul and Natalya tied the knot in 2018.
Before this marriage, Rahul was married to Dimpy Ganguly from 2010 to 2015 and Shweta Singh from 2006 to 2008.
Ex-Bigg Boss contestant and son of late politician Pramod Mahajan, Rahul Mahajan is currently making headlines due to his third divorce. Amid all this, in a recent media interaction, Rahul has opened up about his recent divorce with his third wife, Natalya Ilina. He disclosed that he is presently under the guidance of a therapist to deal with the psychological strain of his divorce.
In the meantime, rumours suggested that the couple’s split was motivated by his desire for a child. Rahul clarified that this is not at all true. He also pointed out that he had not paid alimony to Natalya or his previous wives since all divorces were amicable.
In an interview with The Times of India, Rahul said, “I have therapists who are helping me deal with my feelings. In India, therapy-related support is extremely stigmatized, yet I don’t think it’s wrong to do it.”
“I feel like my life has experienced a significant earthquake. There are still vibrations sometimes. Even though there has been much trauma, life carries on. You are forced to exercise strength. I still have my love and respect for her. Love is immortal. Natalya and I are not in contact, and I have no idea where she is. However, love doesn’t simply disappear.”
Rahul also shared his apprehension about getting into a new relationship, citing his current emotional state as the reason. He described himself as unfit and in need of improvement.
Responding to speculation that he wanted a baby with Natalya, Rahul explained, “I never wanted a baby in this relationship, we never tried. Only Dimpy and I tried for a baby and we had a miscarriage. Natalya and I didn’t plan to have a baby. I’m 48. I don’t want a baby right now.”
For the unversed, Rahul and Natalya tied the knot in 2018 when Rahul was 43 and Natalya was 25. Natalya is from Kazakhstan. Before this marriage, Rahul was married to Dimpy Ganguly from 2010 to 2015 and Shweta Singh in 2008. He was accused of domestic violence in both marriages.
