Insurtech startup Turtlemin, Furniture, and home decor platform WoodenStreet, a business-to-business cross-border tech platform for lifestyle goods, Geniemode were among the startups that raised funds this week.


Insurtech startup Turtlemint bags $120 million as valuation tops $900 million


Insurtech startup Turtlemint
has raised $120 million led by Amansa Capital, Jungle Ventures and Nexus Venture Partners with participation from Vitruvian Partners and Marshall Wace, along with other existing investors. The startup intends to use the fresh funds to expand in new geographies, scale its leadership team and strengthen its product line.

Furniture startup WoodenStreet raises $30 mn led by WestBridge Capital

Furniture and home decor platform
WoodenStreet has raised $30 million in a funding round led by WestBridge Capital at a valuation of $156 million (Rs 1,200 crore). The startup will use the latest capital infusion to expand into different markets, invest in technology, expand the supply chain and add more categories. The fundraising was a mix of primary and secondary investment.

Geniemode bags $28 million in funding from Tiger Global and others

Geniemode, a business-to-business cross-border tech platform for lifestyle goods, has
raised $28 million in a funding round led by Tiger Global. The company will use the funds to deepen its penetration in key international markets. Existing investor Info Edge Ventures, also participated in the round, the statement added.

Ayu Health raises $27 million in funding led by The Fundamentum Partnership

Ayu Health Hospitals
has raised $27 million in a funding round led by The Fundamentum Partnership. The startup will use the funds to expand its hospital network and invest in technology. The funding round saw participation from 57 Stars, Capier Investments and angel investors including Ashish Gupta, Khadim Batti and Vara Kumar.

Mylo raises $17 million in funding led by W Health Ventures, ITC, Endiya Partners


Mylo, a platform for expecting and new mothers, has announced
a funding round of $17 million led by W Health Ventures, a US-based digital health investor, ITC and Endiya Partners. Other investors that participated in the round include Riverwalk Holdings, Alteria Capital and Innoven Capital. With this, Mylo has raises $24 million to date, the company said.

Other notable deals


â–  Nonfungible token (NFT) programming layer
Revise has raised $3.5 million in a funding round led by AlphaWave Global and 8i Ventures.

â–  Convin.ai, an AI-driven platform for virtual assisted selling for businesses,
has raised $2.1 million (Rs 16 crore) in its seed funding round led by Kalaari Capital.

â–  Agritech platform
Poshn has raised $3.8 million (Rs 28.8 crore) in a funding round led by Prime Venture Partners, with participation from Zephyr Peacock.

â–  Sateeq,
an investing platform said it has raised an undisclosed angel round from a clutch of founders and angel investors.

â–  Artificial Intelligence (AI) consulting company, Navikenz
raised $4 million in funding led by prominent investors including Sudip Nandy and others.
