Don’t pick call from these numbers, SBI alert customers!

The bank recently took to the microblogging stage Twitter to caution its clients about possible extortion. It tweeted, “Don’t draw in with these numbers and don’t tap on phishing links for KYC refreshes as they aren’t related with SBI.”

With this, the bank shared two phone numbers that are known to be associated with such phishing tricks. “SBI Customers are getting calls from two nos. – +91-8294710946 and +91-7362951973 requesting that they click on a phishing link for KYC update. Mentioning all SBI clients not to tap on any such phishing/dubious link”, the bank tweeted.

The quantity of financial fakes have seen a disturbing ascent since the time the Covid-19 pandemic has hit the country. According to a report by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks in the nation have recorded a sum of 4,071 extortion cases among April and September 2021.
