Digital CME platform Clirnet raises $1 million

Digital continuous medical education platform Clirnet on Tuesday said it has raised $1 million in the Pre-Series A funding round led by a group of senior executives of major international funds management and banking organizations.

The Mumbai-based startup plans to utilize the funds to strengthen its tech capabilities to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) for deepening platform engagement, expedite doctor acquisitions and amplify the content and operational teams.

The company was seeded by the promoters of Life Science Logistics, backed by PE firm Blackstone.

“The confidence shown by existing and new investors in the current round gives us the ability to build on the digital tools that doctors are actively using to deliver last mile patient care that is both accessible and affordable,” said Saurav Kasera, co-founder, Clirnet.

“Clirnet is already India’s largest collaboration platform among doctors and their peers. In our next phase of growth, we will accelerate our support of doctors in building respectful connections with their patients,” Kasera said

Max Kamhi, Co-Founder, Life Science Logistics added, ”Clirnet’s rapidly approaching platform engagement with 50% of India’s doctors–every healthcare business will need to include CLIRNET in their multi- channel marketing program in India.”
