Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth sparked reconciliation rumours when they were spotted together at their son’s school event.
Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth had taken the internet world by shock when they announced their separation in January, last year. However, the couple had stoked ‘reconciliation’ rumours when they were spotted together at their son Yotra’s school event. But a recent report has indicated otherwise, claiming that the two stars are co-parenting and there is no reconciliation at the periphery.
As per a source close to Hindustan Times, the couple have made peace with the separation. Although they are not divorced and they don’t live together, they do share an amicable rapport as co-parents, “Dhanush is not working on his differences with Aishwaryaa. They are separated and gone in different directions. They have made peace with the turn of events in their life, and accepted that they can’t be together,” the source told the publication.
They also added, “The buzz that they are trying to reconcile is wrong. They aren’t. When it comes to divorce, they have not filed it yet, so they are separated. There is no filing in the court. They won’t even file for divorce until and unless one of them wants to get married again, which is not the case at the moment. They don’t live together, but respect each other and share a cordial bond for their kids. They are busy raising their kids, and finding ways to co-parent. They are taking turns to keep their kids so that they don’t feel a void in their life.”
Last year, Dhanush and Aishwarya requested people to respect their privacy, while announcing their separation on social media. “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well wishers to each other The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting.. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate… Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please do Respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this (sic),” Dhanush said in a statement.
