Designer Sabyasachi Gets Trolled For New Campaign, Netizens Slam Designs And Models –

Sabyasachi is one of the most revered designers not only in India but internationally as well. Over the years owing to his phenomenal work, he has garnered appreciation and accolades from far and wide. However, pictures from his latest photoshoot of a bridal campaign are not sitting well with netizens and not just that, his designs from the campaign are not being liked at all either.

A couple of days earlier, Sabyasachi took to his official social media pages and shared pictures from his ‘HERITAGE BRIDAL 2023’ collection. Instead of receiving compliments though, this time around he is being subjected to heavy trolling for the designs as well as the kind of expressions that the models had in the photoshoot.

Netizens all over social media are calling the expressions of the models extremely distasteful. While some shared the post and wrote, “Great to see #sabyasachi come out with a fashion line for mourning,” other comments read “I say even mannequins would do a better job. These look like Egyptian mummies resurrected from the dead.” People on the internet vocally wondered why these models were so unhappy even after wearing such phenomenally made sarees.

Quite a few social media users are also unhappy about the fact that Sabyasachi did not allow these sarees to be styled with bindis and believe that had the models put on bindis they would have definitely looked better.

Fashion enthusiasts on social media platforms are questioning the ace designer as to why he chose such shoddy fabric for a bridal collection and are also sharing their thoughts about the designs on the sarees.
