Starting around 2010, the Department of Posts (DoP) has been offering the National Pension Scheme (NPS-All Citizen Model Scheme) through its assigned post offices. It is a willful Government of India annuity plot controlled by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA).
“Branch of Posts is presently satisfied to begin giving NPS (All Citizen Model) through online mode with impact from April 26, 2022,” the assertion said.
