On October 14, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the 141st International Olympic Committee (IOC) session at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai. This session holds significant importance as it gathers members of the International Olympic Committee to make vital decisions regarding the future of the Olympic Games. India is hosting the IOC session for the second time, marking a return after almost four decades since the last session was held in New Delhi in 1983.
As part of the inauguration, Bollywood celebrities and sportspersons have converged to the Jio World Centre. Deepika Padukone turned heads in a checkered pantsuit. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor opted for traditional and shades of blue. The official handle of Shah Rukh Khan fan page, Shah Rukh Khan’s Universe, shared a small snippet on X (formerly Twitter), which featured Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone interacting with each other. Behind them, Ranbir and Alia can be seen.
The photo has left social media in a tizzy. With Alia, Ranbir and Deepika in the same frame, it has attracted a barrage of memes. Many wrote that they look like they are listening to Brahmastra 2 narration. Many also pointed out that it’s not very often that Ranbir, his wife Alia and ex girlfriend Deepika are seen together in one frame.
The last time this casting coup was pulled was for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. Ranbir played Dev, Deepika played Amrita, Dev’s mother, Shah Rukh Khan played scientist Mohan Bhargav and Alia played Isha in the film.
