Disha Patani remembers her co-star Sushant Singh Rajput as their film M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story clocked 7 years.
Disha Patani recently took a trip down memory lane to revisit her debut film M.S Dhoni. The actress shared screen space with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput for the same. Sharing one of the most emotional scenes from the film, Disha wrote, “Grateful for this beautiful journey and my first film in Hindi cinema Love whole heartedly and cherish the ones who make you happy safe and heard life’s too short for regrets ! We couldn’t say goodbye but i hope you’re happy and at peace”

In the scene, Disha Patani’s character is seen confessing her love and feelings for SSR’s character Dhoni. It’s an extremely well shot and an emotional moment in the movie. Disha also took to her Instagram stories to share a screen grab with SSR. She also added a heartwarming note which read, “Where my journey started…grateful for all the love and acceptance’.
Released in 2016 MS Dhoni: The Untold Story was written and directed by Neeraj Pandey. It is based on the life of former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Sushant played the titular role, while Disha played his former love interest Priyanka Jha. The song Kaun Tujhe, picturised on Sushant and Disha, became a romance anthem.
MS Dhoni: The Untold Story was the most successful film of Sushant’s career. He passed away in Mumbai on Sunday, at the age of 34. Sushant’s body was found hanging at his home and a domestic help alerted the police.
Coming back to Disha, she will be next seen in director Sagar Ambre and Pushkal Ojha’s upcoming film Yodha alongside Raashi Khanna and Sidharth Malhotra. Additionally, she is set to appear in director Nag Ashwin’s upcoming action drama film Kalki 2898-AD. The film also features Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Dulquer Salmaan.
