Chiranjeevi’s last film Bholaa Shankar was directed by Meher Ramesh.
As per reports, the shoot has been scheduled between the third week of November to the last week of April.
Veteran actor Chiranjeevi has been entertaining the audience for more than 45 years now. The actor, a few weeks back, announced his next two movies, which are tentatively titled Mega156 and Mega157, helmed by different directors. Earlier this year, the star announced that his next film would be with Vassishta. The director is well known among the masses for his debut film Bimbisara. As per the latest reports, Chiranjeevi’s Mega156 has gone on floors.
The makers of the film dropped a post on X to share details about the shoot for the upcoming film and wrote, “The shoot of mammoth #Mega156 begins in all glory; The MEGA MASS BEYOND UNIVERSE is underway with a key schedule being shot.”
As per reports, the shoot has been scheduled between the third week of November to the last week of April. The first leg of the schedule will be shot in Maredumilli forest in Andhra Pradesh. The shoot schedules in the particular location include several key scenes. The makers are yet to announce the star cast of the film.
Mega156 is touted to be a supernatural action film and will mark Chiranjeevi’s 156th venture in the film industry. Produced by Vamsi Pramod under the banner of UV Creations, the film’s first look was released on the occasion of Dussehra which displayed an ancient Indian trident with flood and explosion in its backdrop.
The music of the film will be composed by Academy Award winner composer MM Keeravani. Additionally, the camera work for the film is done by the renowned cinematographer Chota K Naidu whereas the dialogues have been written by Sai Madhav Burra.
Chiranjeevi’s last outing, Bholaa Shankar, was helmed by Meher Ramesh. The film is a remake of the 2015 Tamil film Vedalam and has Tamannaah Bhatia, Keerthy Suresh, and Sushanth among others in prominent roles.
Apart from Mega156, the actor also has two other films lined up in his kitty. They are tentatively titled Mega157 and Mega158 respectively. While Mega157 will be helmed by Sushmitha Konidela, Boyapati Srinu will direct Mega158.
