Actress Cameron Diaz and her husband, musician Benji Madden, say they are happy and thankful to have a baby boy named Cardinal Madden join their family. They shared the news on Instagram last Friday.

“He is awesome, and we are all so happy he is here! For the kids safety and privacy we won’t be posting any pictures,” said a caption on the post, adding that Cardinal is “really cute.” “We are feeling so blessed and grateful,” said the post, which included an illustration with the words, “A little bird whispered to me.”

Using Instagram once again, Cameron and Benji revealed the arrival of their daughter, Raddix, in 2020. They mentioned back then that they had no intentions of sharing additional photos or specifics to safeguard their family’s privacy.

Cameron, known for her roles in movies like “There’s Something About Mary” and “Charlie’s Angels,” tied the knot with Benji, a member of the band Good Charlotte, in early 2015.

In January 2015, Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden embarked on their marital journey with a heartfelt ceremony at their Beverly Hills residence. Their wedding was an intimate affair attended by close friends and family, including Drew Barrymore, Joel Madden, and Nicole Richie. Since then, Diaz, known for her candidness, has openly discussed marriage and parenthood.

Diaz and Madden are the proud parents of daughter Raddix, born on December 30, 2019. When Raddix turned two, Diaz expressed on an episode of the GOOP podcast how motherhood completely altered her perception of aging. “It’s totally opened up. I’m excited. I’ve got 50 or 60 years to go — I want to live to be 110, since I’ve got a young child. I think you have this amazing moment in your 40s where you appreciate who your parents are, and I want to have that moment with her — be there with her in her 40s,” Diaz had said.
