BTS leader RM aka Kim Namjoon and Aespa rapper Karina, recently, found themselves at the centre of dating rumours. It all began after a viral post on a popular Korean online community talked about Karina’s interest in the band Se So Neon, whose lead vocalist Hwang So Yoon is friends with RM. In addition, RM, earlier this year, also collaborated with So Yoon on a single called Smoke Sprite. Now, a report on Koreaboo has revealed that fans have called this dating “evidence” to be ridiculous. The report also pointed out a sequence of similar-looking Instagram updates by Karina and RM. The two separately shared monochrome pictures of themselves with So Yoon on their respective Instagram Stories.
It was the similarities between the two photos, like the angle and filter, that were brought to attention. In each of these photos, they were seen posing with Hwang So Yoon, raising the possibility that these synchronised posts could be a subtle indication of a connection between the K-pop idols.
Meanwhile, last month Kim Namjoon spilled beans about his girlfriend. The BTS leader, during his recent Weverse Live session, said that he is ready to introduce the ARMY to his girlfriend. However, he revealed that there is one problem. A clip from his live session went viral. It began with RM reading the questions asked by ARMY live. The video opens to him saying, “Introduce your girlfriend.” After reading this, the Moonchild singer broke into a fit of laughter and said, “Oh sh*t, I really want to but I have none… right now. Can you introduce me to one?”

Needless to say, his reaction resulted in ARMY flooding the comments section with their views. On his confession, many female fans said they would love to be introduced to Namjoon. A comment read, “‘Introduce your girlfriend… oh shit. I really want to, but I have… I have none.” Introduce me Namjoon please.”
A user said, “Namjoon wants to introduce a girlfriend but he doesn’t have one yet…And what if I jump.”

Another commented, “Joon saying, ‘Can you introduce me to one?’ and suddenly everyone’s picking me girl… You all please stand up.”

Despite such dating rumours, there hasn’t been any confirmation from Namjoon and Karina, so far.
