In profile, nothing much has changed apart from the design of the 21-inch alloy wheels. At the back too, the only change in the X5 facelift is the redesigned tail-lights.Â
BMW X5 facelift interior and features
The biggest change inside the X5 facelift is the new twin-screen panel that houses the 14.9-inch infotainment screen (running BMW’s iDrive 8 operating system) and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The drive selector is now a glass toggle switch, seen on many BMW models recently. The X5 facelift will also get a Harmon Kardon music system, a heads-up display (on M Sport trims) and ambient lighting. The xLine trims get Sport seats with a heating function, while the M Sport trims get Comfort seats with ventilation.
BMW is also offering driver assistance systems that include cruise control, attentiveness assist, parking assist with a 360-degree camera, reverse assist, remote parking via smartphone and drive recording. Other safety features include six airbags, dynamic stability control and more.Â
