Mannara Chopra said that she is up-to-date with her cousins Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra’s lives.
Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra’s cousin, actress Mannara Chopra is currently participating in Salman Khan’s popular reality television show Bigg Boss. She made headlines earlier this year when her director gave her a kiss on her cheek during a press event. Now, the actress has stepped into the Bigg Boss house to showcase her personality. However, fans are also eager to know about her relationship with Priyanka and Parineeti.
In an older interview with the Hindustan Times, Mannara said, “We cousins, we are 14 of us, and we have this family cousins’ WhatsApp group called ‘The Chopras’. We know what’s happening in each other’s lives. It is mandatory for us to share pictures from wherever we are.” Mannara added that she is quite close to both Priyanka and Parineeti and the sisters often keep one another updated about their lives in different cities via photos and text messages.
Priyanka Chopra on Friday, October 20, took to Instagram to extend her support to Mannara. Taking to her Instagram stories, she shared an epic throwback photo from the time she won the Miss World title, where she was seen hugging Mannara. She also added a note that read, “Throwback to little @memannara” and added, “Good Luck little one.”
Mannara is currently nominated this week in the show. However, fans of the show are appreciating her friendship with comedian Munawar Faruqui. She recently broke down on the show and claimed that her fellow contestant Vicky broke his heart and backstabbed her when she trusted him the most. She also added, “Mujhe Vicky ke wajah se bahut bura laga hai. Itne double standards (I am really hurt because of Vicky. He has double standards)”.
Hailing from Ambala, Mannara is the cousin of Bollywood divas Parineeti and Priyanka Chopra. Mannara’s mother, who is a jewellery designer by profession, is the sister of Parineeti and Priyanka’s fathers. While Mannara’s father is a lawyer, she also has a younger sister named Mitali. She has worked in several Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada films. It was her last film Thiragabadara Saami which landed her in a controversy, when the film’s director AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary, kissed her during promotions.
