Badshah clarifies the rumours that he and Mrunal Thakur are dating. Rumours of their relationship began at a Diwali party.
Badshah has finally reacted to rumours claiming that he is dating Mrunal Thakur. The rapper and the actress sparked dating rumours after they were spotted making their way to Shilpa Shetty’s Diwali party. A video went viral showing them holding hands while they headed to the party. A couple of days after the bash, Badshah took to his Instagram Stories and shared a statement, clarifying that he is not dating Mrunal. While the rapper did not mention her name, he said that the internet has got it all wrong.
“Dear internet, sorry to disappoint you yet again but jaisa aap soch rahe hai waisa nahi hai (laughing emoji),” he wrote. Meanwhile, Mrunal is yet to react to the rumours. Check out Badshah’s Instagram story below:
Badshah and Mrunal have been subjected to wedding rumours respectively. Earlier this year, there were rumours that Badshah was going to marry his longtime actor-girlfriend Isha Rikhi. A source close to the singer told Hindustan Times that Badshah and Rikhi were planning to have a “gurdwara wedding in north India” soon.
Isha Rikhi is a Punjabi actress who made her acting debut in 2013 with the film Jatt Boys Putt Jattan De. She went on to make her Bollywood debut with Nawabzaade in 2018 which also starred Varun Dhawan, Raghav Juyal and Punit Pathak. Badshah and Rikhi have reportedly been dating for a year now.
On the other hand, it was rumoured that Mrunal was going to marry a Telugu star. This news became the talk of the town after producer Allu Aravind talked about it at an award function. He was to present the Best Female Actor award to Mrunal for her acting skills in the film Sita Ramam. At the event, Aravind blessed Mrunal to get married soon. He said, “I want her to settle down in Hyderabad.”
Mrunal soon clarified that Allu Aravind was merely blessing her and not hinting at her wedding. “I’m so sorry to break your hearts, guys. To all the stylist, designers and my friends and family who have been calling me constantly for the past for one hour when they got to know that I’m getting married to some Telugu boy! I also want to know who this boy is. Sorry, it’s a rumour. I only received blessings. I can’t even express how funny this rumour is. But having said that, I just couldn’t control. I’ll get married soon. Find me a man, you guys. Send me the location,” she said.
