Autocar Awards

After numerous hours of scrutinising all contestants, our jurors have picked the winners of the year. Here’s an in-depth report detailing what went into selecting the winners of the Autocar India Car of the Year 2023 and Bike of the Year award.

Indian top-speed record with Pininfarina Battista

The Pininfarina Battista with 1,900hp is over the top. And we took it a step further by maxing it out at NATRAX. The result? Three new Indian speed records and a couple of world records broken.

Maserati GranTurismo

We had the chance to drive Maserati’s new GranTurismo in Italy – both ICE and EV variants. Is the V6 a downgrade over the V8, and how good is the EV? Find out in our review.

Honda’s Creta rival

Honda might be late to the midsize SUV party, but its planning to enter with a bang. We have all the latest information on the newest Creta rival.

Hyderabad e-Prix

Hyderabad hosted the first Formula E Grand Prix in India last month and, as expected, the atmosphere was charged (pun intended). Catch more of the action and some behind the scenes details in this month’s issue.

Hyundai Ioniq 5

With the iconic Ioniq 5, Hyundai has upped the desirability of premium of EVs in India. And, as it turns out, it’s fun to drive too.

Mercedes-Benz S 680 Guard

When a run-of-the-mill Mercedes-Benz S-Class isn’t safe enough, there’s the S 680 Guard: bulletproof glass and body, while still oozing luxury on the inside. Find out just how safe it is in our latest edition.

Porsche GT4 RS

500hp, 4.0-litre inline six, 9,000rpm redline pure aural pleasure. The Porsche GT4 RS, a hardcore version of the 718 Cayman, sure set our hearts racing this month.

Triumph Street Triple

We sampled Triumph’s latest Street Triple offerings in Spain. They sure are faster and better equipped, and a treat for the street!

Hero Xoom

Hero’s latest 110cc scooter, the Xoom, has an attractive design, plenty of features and decent performance. Suffice to say that it is dressed to impress.
