Audi has introduced new updates for its entry-level luxury sedan, the A4 in the form of new colours and features. Launched in January 2021, the A4 continues to be offered in three trims – Premium, Premium Plus, and Technology.

Audi A4: new features
The A4 now gets two new colour schemes – ‘Tango Red’ and ‘Manhattan Gray’ across the range along with new features on the top-spec Technology trim. These include a new flat bottom steering wheel and a 19-speaker, B&O premium sound system.
Other existing features on the top-spec Audi A4 also include a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, Audi’s Virtual Cockpit display, an electric glass sunroof, wireless charging, leather and leatherette upholstery, 30-colour ambient lighting, three-zone auto climate control, electrically adjustable front seats, six airbags, front and rear parking sensors and a rear parking camera.
Audi A4: powertrain
The Audi A4 continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that puts out 190hp and 320Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox as standard, with power going to the front wheels only. The A4 does the 0-100kph sprint in a claimed 7.3sec and is said to have a top speed of 241kph.
Audi A4: rivals
The Audi A4 competes with other luxury sedans like the Mercedes-Benz C-Class (Rs 55 lakh-61 lakh), and the BMW 3 Series which starts at (Rs 46.90 lakh- 52.90 lakh). The sedan also competed with the Volvo S60 which has silently been discontinued. Compared to its immediate competition, the A4 is the most affordable luxury sedan on sale.
