Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit made her debut in the Marathi cinema with the film Bucket List. Following a successful acting career, Madhuri Dixit Nene has now made her debut as a producer with her first Marathi film, Panchak. Recently, Madhuri Dixit and Dr Nene attended the trailer launch of their forthcoming Marathi film, which they co-produced. While some fans applauded Dr Nene’s Marathi, others were seen criticising his Marathi accent.

So far, the video has garnered over 1 million views and is still counting more. The caption of the post reads, “Dr Nene talks about the film in his cute American Marathi accent”.

Several social media users have commented on the video. One user wrote, “The hypocrisy is that Dr Nene speaking broken Marathi is cute but if we speak broken Hindi then we will be labelled as illiterate”. Another user added, “Madhuri is so supportive. She just let him speak. They are so respectful towards each other”. One user also commented, “He has been in the US all his life, for all who don’t know and will start judging”.

Some time back, Madhuri and Dr Nene posted a picture posing with the cast and crew of the film and captioned the post, “Just got done with the trailer launch for our new film, Panchak. It was awesome seeing the cast and crew again! Can’t wait for you to see it on Jan 5 in the theatres”.

For the trailer launch event, Madhuri Dixit wore a pink saree with a matching designer blouse. Meanwhile, Dr Nene graced the occasion in a black shirt and white pants with a dark blue jacket over the top. The trailer of the film has now been released and accumulated over 280K views.

Rnm Moving Pictures, owned by Madhuri Dixit and Dr Shriram Nene, is gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated Marathi film, Panchak. The film is scheduled for January 5, 2024. Directed by Jayant Jathar and Rahul Awate, the film earned acclaim, receiving a standing ovation at the Pune International Film Festival (PIFF).

Touted to be a dark comedy, the film stars an ensemble cast of the finest artists of the Marathi film, television, and theatre industries. It is filmed against the picturesque backdrop of Konkan.
