Asia Cup 2022: Anushka Sharma Cheers for Virat Kohli as He Hits Half-Century in India vs Pakistan Match

The Indian cricket team is facing Pakistan today in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022 Super 4 clash at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Virat Kohli top-scored for India with a solid 60 off 44 as they posted a challenging 181/7 in 20 Overs. As the cricketer hit a half-century, his actress-wife took Anushka Sharma took to Instagram to share a photo of her husband. Celebrating the feat, the actress shared a photo of her television screen showing a proud Kohli with his bat held high up. She left a heart emoji on the post.

It was the second half-century in a row for Virat Kohli as he ended his lean patch in a mega multi-nation tournament.

A couple of days back, Kohli shared a mushy post on social media dedicating it to ‘his world’ Anushka Sharma. The ace batsman took to Instagram on Friday evening and shared a picture of the Chakda Xpress actress along with a sweet caption.

The picture was an old picture of Anushka Sharma, smiling for the camera. Sharing the picture, Virat used a world emoji and a heart emoji. The adorable post received a reaction from many, including David Warner. Taking to the comments section, Warner wrote, “Lucky man mate.” Celebrity photographer Dabboo Ratnani praised Virat as well.

On the work front, Anushka Sharma has been busy with her upcoming film Chakda Xpress. The actress had previously revealed that she has been taking cricket tips from her husband, Virat Kohli. “We definitely discuss my progress. Whenever I’ve had a good day learning, I like to share my videos with Virat, to get his feedback. Luckily, he’s not a bowler so I listen to my coach more. But I do turn to Virat for batting tips,” she told Harper’s Bazaar earlier this year.
