These actors have touched many lives through their remarkable performances. In this tribute, we remember each of them and celebrate the unforgettable moments they gifted us throughout their careers.
Rituraj Mishra
Actor Rituraj Singh passed away in February at the age of 59 after battling a pancreatic illness. He had been hospitalised following a cardiac arrest before his death. Rituraj was known for his roles in popular TV shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kutumb, Abhay 3 and Never Kiss Your Best Friend. He also appeared in the hit show Anupamaa and films like Satyamev Jayate 2 and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
Atul Parchure
Atul Parchure, the well-known Marathi actor, passed away at the age of 57 after battling liver cancer. He was loved by fans for his roles on TV shows like The Kapil Sharma Show, Comedy Nights with Kapil, Comedy Circus and Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe. Atul became popular with his role in the TV show Jaago Mohan Pyaare. Apart from his work in Marathi entertainment, he also appeared in Bollywood films such as Billu with Shah Rukh Khan, Partner with Salman Khan and All The Best with Ajay Devgn.
Vikas Sethi
Actor Vikas Sethi died after suffering a heart attack. He was well-known for his roles in popular 2000s TV shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahiin To Hoga and Kasautii Zindagi Ki. Vikas also appeared in Bollywood films including the hit Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham as well as Oops! and Deewanapan. His sudden death had left many in the entertainment industry and his fans in shock.
Nitin Chauhan
Actor Nitin Chauhan, who hailed from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, passed away at the age of 35. He rose to fame after winning the reality show Dadagiri 2 and later became a familiar face on television. Nitin appeared in popular shows like MTV Splitsvilla 5, Crime Patrol and Tera Yaar Hoon Main, which was his last appearance in 2022. He also featured in a few episodes of Zindagi Dot Com, Saavdhaan India, and Gumraah: End of Innocence.
Dolly Sohi And Amandeep Sohi
Television actresses and sisters Dolly Sohi and Amandeep Sohi had passed away in March just hours apart. Amandeep, known for her role in Badtameez Dil, passed away after battling jaundice. Dolly, who was battling cervical cancer, also died hours later. Their sudden demise left the entertainment industry in shock. Dolly was well-known for her role as Srishti Mukherjee in Jhanak. She had also appeared in shows like Bhabhi, Kalash, Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi and Khoob Ladi Mardaani Jhansi Ki Rani.
Asha Sharma
Veteran actress Asha Sharma, known for her role in Kumkum Bhagya, died at the age of 88. She was a part of popular TV shows like Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya and Ek Aur Mahabharat. Along with her work on television, she appeared in films such as Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam.
