Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan will direct Stardom for a OTT platform.
Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan gathered attention after he announced his directorial debut with a web series titled Stardom. Well, nothing much has been shared about it but recently a fresh update came in that Mona Singh will be part of the series. Bollywood Hungama in its exclusive report has claimed that she has already completed one schedule of shooting for the series.
And now, Aryan Khan is also creating quite a buzz within the industry with ‘Stardom’, his maiden web series which will mark his full-fledged directorial debut. In July this year, the show went on floors and reportedly, it has cameos by Shah Rukh, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar and Bobby Deol. Featuring Lakshya Lalwani in the lead, it is said to be a fictionalised account of the Hindi film industry. And as per a source, the shoot for the series has almost come to a conclusion.
A video of actor and singer Armaan Khera, who has worked in shows like Taish and Masaba Masaba 2, and will now headline Aryan Khan OTT directorial Stardom, says, “He is a fantastic director and actor. When he gives directions, he acts like the character. If he is giving me directions, he will act like my character. I think he should act. He is an amazing actor. He’s a bit shy but he is amazing.”
Stardom will be a six-episode web show where each episode will witness a cameo by a Bollywood A-lister who will play themselves. It was revealed that on its first day of shoot, Shah Rukh visited the set of the show. Our source now says, “A major portion of Stardom was filmed in Dharma Productions which was frequented by Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan during the course of the shoot.”
