While there are several pictures of Shah Rukh Khan’s son and upcoming director Aryan Khan all over social media, it’s extremely rare to come across a selfie in which the star kid is posing with someone. Well that happened at the recent Archies premiere that was attended by several notable celebs from the industry. Among them was also Mona Singh who shared an album consisting of pictures from last night’s event. It features a selfie with Aryan Khan.
Taking to her Instagram handle on Thursday, Mona Singh shared a carasouel of snaps in which she can be seen posing with Zoya Akhtar, Neeraj Ghaywan. However it was the second slide that caught everyone’s attention. It was a selfie with Aryan Khan and Lakshya. The Laal Singh Chaddha actress wore an all white outfit and Aryan Khan looked suave in a brown shirt. Reacting to her post, a fan wrote,”how do you manage to take such wonderful pics, which no one else can manage. Don’t think have ever seen Aryan Khan take a selfie. Seriously WOW!” Another one commented, “Super Pics Mona❤️.. You and Everyone look so happy and radiant !!!!” Someone else said, “aryan wali pic …pic of the month.” A fan also stated, “My rock star.”
Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan gathered attention after he announced his directorial debut with a web series titled Stardom. Well, nothing much has been shared about it but recently a fresh update came in that Mona Singh will be part of the series. Bollywood Hungama in its exclusive report has claimed that she has already completed one schedule of shooting for the series.
According to the report, which tags a well-placed source, says, “Yes, Mona Singh does feature in the show. In fact, she has already begun shooting for the same. Currently, she has finished one schedule of the shoot.” When asked the source for details of her role, he added, “Currently nothing much is known. Given the fact that Shah Rukh Khan’s son is making his directorial debut, all eyes are on the Aaryan Khan directorial. Thanks to this, Aaryan is keeping a tight leash on the production when it comes to details being revealed.”
The report also mentions that Stardom will have cameo appearances by Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, and Bobby Deol.
The aptly titled web series will showcase the challenges and behind-the-scenes nitty-gritty of the Indian film industry. The story revolves around the lives of budding, young actors wanting to make it big in Bollywood. The gritty drama, interspersed with humour, will show how they juggle their ambitions with their personal lives, trying to attain a balance.
Lakshya Lalwani is reportedly playing the lead in the show. According to reports by Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, actor Ranbir Kapoor has already shot the opening scene and director Karan Johar has also finished filming his part. Mirroring his real-life profession, he will be playing the role of a director. Actor Ranveer Singh will also reportedly make a cameo appearance.
The Times of India had earlier reported that the web series will feature six episodes and will be produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan. A release date is yet to be revealed by the makers. The web series will reportedly be available on Netflix by the end of the year. The series will also feature Gautami Kapoor, who is known for her roles in television serials like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Qubool Hai.
