The highly anticipated iPhone 15 series is anticipated to be announced in September this year by Apple, the renowned tech company based in California. The upcoming iPhone lineup is said to consist of four models: the standard iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.Â
Although Apple has not officially confirmed any specifics about these smartphones, a recent leak has disclosed one exciting detail: the iPhone 15 Pro is rumored to introduce a fresh and appealing dark blue color option.
A recent report by MacRumors, in collaboration with tipster Unknownz21 (@URedditor), suggests that the forthcoming iPhone 15 Pro might feature an exclusive dark blue color option with a subtle grayish tone.Â
The tipster’s tweet indicates that the rumored blue color for the iPhone 15 Pro has not been officially confirmed, and it could potentially be a test configuration. This leaked color is believed to be used as a prototype to assess the durability of the PVD coating on the new titanium material being utilized in the device.
The leaked information suggests that the new dark blue shade for the iPhone 15 Pro is reminiscent of the color option previously seen on the iPhone 12 Pro models. Alongside this, the leak hints at other potential color choices for the phone, such as Silver, Space Gray/Space Black, and a Titanium Gray shade. The leaked renders also depict the smartphone with a brushed finish, which could indicate the use of a new titanium material in its construction.
In addition to the aforementioned details, it is expected that the iPhone 15 Pro will maintain the design elements of the iPhone 14 Pro. Leaked images depict the iPhone 15 Pro featuring a two-button design for the volume controls. On the rear of the device, a familiar camera module is shown, housing a triple rear camera sensor and an LED flash.
