Apple iPhone 15 series launch is still months away. But the rumour mill keeps churning leaks and rumours about the upcoming iPhones. As per a report by 9to5Mac, Apple iPhone 15 Pro in new Crimson shade is reportedly under works. The upcoming colour variant will be lighter than the existing purple colour option of iPhone 14 Pro.
A previous report by the publication suggested that the company may be planning to introduce a dark red colour model for iPhone 15 Pro.
Talking about the standard iPhone 15, the report says that the device may be offered in a new green colour variant. The source cited in the report says that the upcoming green colour for iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro is said to be “close to the green of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 11.”
To recall, Apple iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 were offered in a mint-like green color that was later discontinued with the iPhone 13 and didn’t return with the iPhone 14.

In another news, Apple may increase the price of iPhone 15 series by $200. As per Wall Street analyst Dan Ives, the company may increase the price of Pro models by up to $200.
Last year, Ives predicted a price hike for the iPhone 14 series that turned out to be accurate. In a session with CNBC, the analyst said Apple may follow the same strategy with iPhone 15 series. He did not specifically mention the model-wise price, but said that the company will raise average selling prices (ASPs) of iPhones in the US.
The price hike is most likely to impact the Pro models with the raise reaching up to $200 for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
According to Ives, the Cupertino-based tech giant is looking to raise its valuation with the price rise. He says that Apple foresees its valuation increasing from the current $2.85 trillion to an estimated $3.5 trillion to $4 trillion within the next 18 to 24 months.
