An old video of Anushka Sharma has surfaced online in which the actress can be heard saying that she does not want to work after kids. The viral clip, which is from Simi Garewal’s India’s Most Desirable, begins with the host asking, “Is marriage important to you?” To this, Anushka says, “Very important. I want to be married. I want to have kids and when I am married, I probably do not want to be working”.
The video comes at a time when the rumours of Anushka Sharma’s second pregnancy have also been making headlines. It all started after a report by Hindustan Times claimed last month that the actress is expecting her second child with cricketer-husband Virat Kohli. “Anushka is expecting her second baby. Like the last time, they will formally share the news with the world at a later stage,” a source cited by the entertainment portal claimed. However, the couple is yet to confirm or deny the report.
Meanwhile, the viral video has also left netizens wondering if Anushka Sharma will quit acting after second child. “Has anushka sharma already not left films? I don’t remember any of her movies after that sui dhaaga,” one of the fans wrote. Another comment read, “Girl is enjoying her life away from the industry already”.
Anushka Sharma tied the knot with Virat Kohli in December 2017. The actress then took a break from acting in 2018 after the release of her movie Zero. The couple then welcomed their daughter, Vamika, in January 2021. Since then, Anushka has not worked in any of the films. She is slated to make a comeback with the sports drama Chakda Xpress. While the actress has already wrapped up its shooting, the film’s release date is not known as of now.
