Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna are gearing up for the release of their much-awaited movie Animal. While everyone is eagerly waiting for it, makers are all set to raise fans’ excitement levels with the release of the film’s second song. Titled Satranga, the song is sung by Arijit Singh and will be released on October 27.
On Wednesday, the makers of the film took to the microblogging site X and wrote, “The magical combination of #RanbirKapoor and @arijitsingh is back! #Satranga will be all yours on 27th October #Animal2ndSong #SatrangaOn27thOct #Animal #AnimalOn1stDec #AnimalTheFilm”.
Previously, Animal song Hua Main was also released. which is sung by Raghav Chaitanya and Pritam while the lyrics are penned by Manoj Muntashir Shukla.
Animal marks Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna’s first film together. Besides the two, the film also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. According to the film’s teaser, Ranbir’s character’s attachment leads him on the path of becoming a gangster, eventually coming to face with his nemesis, played by Bobby Deol. Anil Kapoor plays Ranbir’s father in the film and Rashmika Mandanna plays his love interest.
In his recent Instagram LIVE session, Ranbir Kapoor talked about Animal and revealed that he had to undergo a massive transformation for the film. “For Animal, I had shaved my hair! For the last scene, I had done that. So now I am growing my hair. Since I am not working on any film, I am eating a lot, and not following any diet. I have changed my entire lifestyle. I have quit smoking, so I am eating a lot of chocolates,” the actor said.
Animal is helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on December 1 this year. It was originally slated to release in August this year. However, due to incomplete post-production work, the film was then postponed. Animal will clash at the box office with Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur.
