Animal: Siddhant Karnick REVEALS Ranbir Knew The Complete Story Of The Film: 'Even Anil Kapoor Wasn't…' –

Animal actor shared that Sandeep Reddy Vanga only told the film story to Ranbir Kapoor.

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal is one of the highly anticipated films. Well, after the release also fans were not disappointed as the performances of the actors left everyone in awe. The film has been making history since its release. As the Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial continues to rake in some serious moolah, Siddhant Karnick that essayed Ranbir Kapoor’s brother-in-law couldn’t stop praising the actor’s commitment to his craft. Siddhant also revealed that Sandeep Reddy Vanga only told the whole story to Ranbir and nobody else.

In an interview with Filmy, Siddhant shared, “Even Anil Kapoor wasn’t aware of it(story), made us all feel less bad. He (Ranbir) used to come on set ready; his lines would be completely sorted. We were shooting in this glass house where the scene was shot. We were shooting in Delhi, it was very hot and we were shooting in the Pataudi Palace in the glass house.”

He added, “He was always enthusiastic about this; then he would get into his own personal journey, his own relationship with Harshhvardhan. You know, he reflected on that, Ranbir and him built on their working relationship. It was such a wonderful moment for us outsiders. Both of them, their conversations were like an encyclopedia of the Hindi film industry.”

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal revolves around a man and his toxic relationship with his father. Vijay (played by Ranbir) is an anti-hero who would go to any lengths to protect his father, including gun down 200 people with machine gun. However, despite his efforts, he struggles to get a seal of approval from his emotionally unavailable father (played by Anil Kapoor). His unhealthy relationship with his father impacts his relationship with his wife (played by Rashmika Mandanna). The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given Animal an ‘A’ certificate. The film features some bold scenes, including Ranbir Kapoor walking into a frame nude. The film’s run time is 3 hours and 35 minutes.

The film’s end credit scene revealed Animal will have a sequel.
