SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu joined forces with Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol at the Hyderabad event.
The excitement surrounding Animal reached new heights just ahead of release as the iconic film director SS Rajamouli and superstar Mahesh Babu joined forces with lead stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol alongside producer Bhushan Kumar and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. A grand promotional event was held in Hyderabad on Monday.
Ranbir Kapoor looked dapper in a tan jacket paired with a beige t-shirt and white pants. Mahesh Babu was smart in a lavender t shirt. As SS Rajamouli made his way from the stage to the seating area, Ranbir, who was seated, greeted him and touched his feet out of respect. He even gave the RRR director a warm hug. Rashmika Mandanna, who was present as well, looked resplendent in a yellow sari.
Meanwhile, onstage, Anil Kapoor mentioned that Bobby Deol playfully calls him ‘besharam’ because he’s always ready to dance, even at midnight. Anil then invited Mahesh Babu to join him in dancing to one of the latter’s hit tracks and asked Ranbir to join them as well. Despite Ranbir initially gesturing a polite no, Anil Kapoor jokingly said to the both of them, “You can’t say no to me; I am your senior!” Eventually, Ranbir, Bobby Deol, and Mahesh Babu joined Anil Kapoor in an impromptu jig to one of Mahesh Babu’s popular songs. Although Mahesh Babu didn’t dance, he give Anil Kapoor a warm hug.
Bobby said to Mahesh Babu, “Years back, I was shooting in your studio and your dad called me for your mahurat. And look at you now, man!” Anil asked for SS Rajamouli’s good wishes for the film and said, “You made us proud, sir. You’ve motivated the entire film industry to work harder and be passionate. You have reignited the fire in all of us. We need people like you. We need your blessings for this film and I hope when you see the film, you are happy with the effort the entire team has put in.”
