Bobby Deol’s performance gets a thumbs up from Esha Deol.

Hema Malini’s daughter Esha Deol shared her review of Bobby Deol’s performance in Animal. Bobby plays the villain in the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial headlined by Ranbir Kapoor. The actor had undergone a transition for the role. While the audience and reviews have praised his work in the movie, Esha was moved to see Bobby getting the spotlight he deserves. Taking to her Instagram Stories, she shared a photo of Bobby seated on the floor in a theatre and watching the movie.
“Way to go! Smashing performance and success Bhaiya,” Esha wrote while sharing the photo. Bobby was also emotional seeing the response from the audience. The actor was spotted on Saturday night joining the team of Animal to celebrate the sucessful opening of the film. As he made his way into the party, Bobby broke down. He was then seen wiping his tears off with a tissue.
Bobby told the paparazzi, “Thank you so much. God has been really kind Itna pyaar mil raha hai iss film ke liye, mujhe lagta hai main sapna dekh raha hoon (I’m getting so much love for this film, it feels like a dream).”
In Animal, Bobby plays the role of Abrar Haque, a mute man out to take revenge for his brother’s death and his grandparents being outcast from the company that was run by Vijay’s father. Ranbir played the role of Vijay while Anil Kapoor played the role of the father.
Showsha’s review of the film reads: “Bobby Deol’s Abrar appears only in the second half and despite a limited screen time, leaves an indelible impression. He’s seen in a never-seen-before devilish avatar that will leave you fearful and aghast. We wish there were more scenes between Abrar and Vijay because their menacing chemistry is rather impressive.”
Animal has collected over Rs 100 crore at the box office in just two days.
