Ditching her usual glamorous aura, Angelina was spotted donning a greyish blazer look with a matching skirt as he walked two leashed poodles.
Angelina Jolie is quite busy after kick-starting the shoot of her upcoming film in Paris. The Maleficent actress was spotted on the sets of Maria in France’s capital city on Thursday. In the forthcoming biopic, Angelina essays the role of the famous opera singer and Academy Award-winning Maria Callas. The shooting of the film was happening in full swing at the Avenue des Champs-Elysees, according to Just Jared. Ditching her usual glamorous aura, Angelina was spotted donning a greyish blazer with a matching skirt. A cropped brown overcoat wrapped over her formal fit while knee-high boots covered most of her skin. Her makeup included the addition of a greyish wig tied in a bun along with thick spectacles.
If that wasn’t enough, leather gloves and a scarf around her neck added more layers while a statement handbag gave her entire look a vintage vibe. She was seen strolling with two leashed poodles as the camera captured her.

This appearance of Angelina comes just days after the makers of Maria released the movie’s first official images on Monday, October 9. In the first look of the Girl Interrupted fame as Maria Callas, she wore similar spectacles along with a wide-brimmed lace hat on a black and white fit. In another photo, she wore a white knitted attire. The upcoming biopic traces the tragic yet beautiful life story of the world’s greatest opera singer, mostly covering her final days in Paris. Set against the backdrop of the 1970s, the movie is scheduled to be filmed in multiple locations including Greece and Milan. It is suggested Angelina might be seen in Maria’s original garments and accessories that the musician wore during her lifetime.
Notably, Maria Callas rose to become a popular international opera star in the mid-20th century. She passed away after suffering from a heart attack at 53 in 1977. The makers of the biopic haven’t yet disclosed the release date of the film. While Angelina plays the titular role, Valeria Golino will essay the role of Maria’s sister Yakinthi.
Directed by Pablo Larrain, Maria is set to mark Angelina Jolie’s first appearance on the big screen since playing elite warrior Thena in Marvel’s 2021 film Eternals.
