Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has praised Team India in a heartwarming post after its loss in ICC World Cup 2023 final.

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has penned a heartwarming post for Indian cricket team after they lost the ICC World Cup 2023 final match against Australia at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. Team Australia beat India by 6 wickets. Several Bollywood celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Shanaya Kapoor, Asha Bhosle, Daggubati Venkatesh, Ayushmann Khurrana and Vivek Oberoi were seen at the stadium for the match.

Amitabh Bachchan on World Cup loss

After Australia won the match, Amitabh took to his official X account and praised the men in blue for their performance. He wrote, “Team India… last night’s result is not, in anyway, a reflection of your talent, capability and standing… proud of you… better things will happen… keep at it.”

What Other Bollywood Celebrities Said

Actor Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “The way the Indian team has played this whole tournament is a matter of honour and they showed great spirit and tenacity. It’s a sport and there are always a bad day or two. Unfortunately it happened today….but thank u Team India for making us so proud of our sporting legacy in cricket…u bring too much cheer to the whole of India. Love and respect. You make us one proud Nation.”

Kajol shared a picture of Team India from the National Anthem ceremony on her Instagram stories. She wrote, “Haarkar jeetne waale ko baazigar kehte hai. Well played Team India. Congratulations Australia on another World Cup. #WorldCupFinal”

Kareena Kapoor shared the picture of team India along with a short note. She wrote on Instagram, “Only Love and Respect. Team India tuff battle but well played.” While Vicky wrote: “Still the best team out there. The skill and the character, grit and grace shown by Team India in this CWC has been phenomenal. Forever proud of you guys!”
