Amitabh Bachchan Calls His Family a ‘Mini-India’, Says ‘I Become a Sandwich At Home’ –

In the latest episode of his popular show Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 15, Amitabh Bachchan talked about diversity in his family. The superstar was speaking to one of the contestants when he mentioned that many members of his family come from different parts of the country. Big B shared that he loves it but added that it also makes him a ‘sandwich’ at home.

“I can completely understand, even I become a sandwich at home with everyone. However, what I like the most is the fact that my family is so diverse. My daughter (Shweta Bachchan) married someone in Punjab and my son (Abhishek Bachchan) in the south. We have people from all across the country, it’s like a mini India and we love it,” Amitabh said as quoted by Hindustan Times.

For the unversed, Amitabh Bachchan’s son Abhishek Bachchan is married to actress Aishwarya Rai. The two tied the knot in 2007 and have a daughter named Aaradhya Bachchan. On the other hand, Amitabh’s daughter Shweta Bachchan is married to businessman Nikhil Nanda. They got married in 1997 and have two children – Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda.

Amitabh Bachchan often talks about her personal life in KBC. In another recent episode, Big B talked about bunking school to watch a movie when he told a contestant, “I did not have money to see a movie. Thus, we typically waited outside the theatre. A man at the theatre directs you to your seat. We would frequently ask him to grant us temporary access. Before he would let us in, we had to ask him. Once the song was over, he would ask us to go away. And then we would go. This occurred numerous times.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was recently seen in Ganapath. He will soon be seen in Kalki 2898 AD with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. The actor will also be reuniting with Rajinikanth for Thalaivar 170.
