Amala Paul celebrated her engagement with her boyfriend and now fiancé Jagat Desai.
Amala Paul is an actress known for her work in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu films. She made her debut with the Malayalam film Neelathamara in 2009. Her talent shone bright, earning her the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress for her remarkable performance in Mynaa (2010). Among her notable works are films like Deiva Thirumagal (2011), Run Baby Run (2012), Thalaivaa (2013), and Mili (2015). The actress got the best gift on her 32nd birthday when her boyfriend Jagat Desai proposed to her with a grand gesture. Now Amala has shared official pictures post engagement.
Taking to her Instagram handle on Sunday, Amala Paul shared a carasouel consisting of romantic pictures of the actress with the fiancé Jagat Desai. It gave us glimpses of Amala and Jagat sealing it with a kiss, holding each other close, dancing with one another with wide smiles on their faces. Amala can be seen sporting a Pink two piece co-ord dress and Jagat wore a brown jacket, blue denim jeans and white t-shirt. She also penned a lovely note for Jagat. In a wholesome video shared by Jagat Desai on his Instagram handle on Thursday, one could see the lovestruck couple enjoying a flash mob dance performance at some restaurant during their vacay. The dancers then proceed to ask Jagat to join, who goes on to show his dance moves to a blushing Amala, dressed in a stunning pink outfit. Amid the dance performance, Jagat goes down on his knees and proposes Amala with a ring to the sound and visuals of flying confetti. The two then share a kiss and a hug with everyone rejoicing in this grand proposal. He penned the caption, “My Gypsy Queen said yes #weddingbells Happy birthday my love.”
On the professional front, Amala Paul recently appeared in the Hindi-language action-adventure film Bholaa. The movie, directed by Ajay Devgn and produced by Ajay Devgn Films, Reliance Entertainment, T-Series Films, and Dream Warrior Pictures, is a remake of the critically acclaimed 2019 Tamil film Kaithi. Amala starred alongside Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, Gajraj Rao, and Vineet Kumar.
The film received immense acclaim and emerged as the tenth-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2023, solidifying Amala Paul’s position as a versatile and accomplished actress in the Indian film industry.
