As Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva marks one year since its release on Saturday, September 9, the film’s leading lady Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to share some sweet behind-the-scenes moments from the film’s shoot. Alia shared a video featuring unseen moments from the film’s shoot. From Ranbir and Alia’s first look test to their memorable time in Varanasi, Alia’s video showed several heartfelt moments.
Alia captioned the video, “A piece of our hearts..♥️ Can’t believe it’s already been a wholeeeee year Love & Light alwayss.” Synced to the song Kesariya from the film, the video begins with a snippet of Ayan and Alia rehearsing for a scene as Ranbir records them and says, “Moment hai, moment hai.”
The video then cuts to Ranbir and Alia’s first look test for the franchise. In the photo, Ranbir could be seen donning a different hairstyle than the one finally featured in the film. He fondly holds Alia’s close as they lovingly gaze into each other’s eyes.
Alia also showed glimpses from the crew’s first trip to Tel Aviv, their memorable time filming in Varanasi and the fun they had while traveling to promote the film. One snippet has Ayan meditating on an airplane as a giddy Alia looks at him, trying to contain her laughter but in vain.
The video also featured several moments shared by Ranbir and Alia while shooting the film. The two could be seen goofing around in a car as they waited for the shooting to begin. One photo also showed Ranbir wrapped in towels as Alia sat next to him. She captioned this part of the video as, “Someone just hated the rain sequence.”
In another photo, Ranbir made a heart with his hands as he rested between shots and posed for Alia’s camera. Many snippets also hint at the moments when their roles reversed and Alia became Ranbir’s muse instead.
Earlier on Saturday, the film’s director Ayan Mukerji had updated fans that parts two and three of the film are currently in progress. The second installment in the franchise is likely to focus on the story of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s characters. However, an official confirmation is awaited.
