Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor decided to mark their daughter Raha’s first Diwali at home with their close ones.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor attended a couple of Diwali parties this year. Yet, when the festival day arrived, the duo opted for a more intimate celebration at home with their near and dear ones. This festival held exceptional significance for them as it marked their daughter Raha’s first Diwali. Recently, snapshots from their celebrations have surfaced online.
The pictures were posted by Alia Bhatt’s driver, Sunil Talekar on Instagram. In the photos, the couple is seen twinning in baby pink colour-coordinated outfits. Alia wore a suit with a powder blue dupatta, while Ranbir opted for a short chikankari kurta paired with fine trousers. Sunil Talekar, who has been a part of the Bhatt family since Alia was 5 years old, also posed with the couple in one of the pictures. Additional images featured Sunil with Neetu Kapoor and Shaheen Bhatt from the festive celebrations.

Before their intimate home celebration, Alia and Ranbir attended a Diwali party hosted by sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Alia turned heads in a bright red lehenga, accompanied by Ranbir, who looked dapper in a black kurta. The couple entered the venue hand in hand. Although the actors were in a rush, they paused and posed for the couple.
Soon after the bash, Alia Bhatt treated her Insta family with glimpses from the star-studded night. The couple was seen all smiles. The subsequent image is of Ranbir sitting next to Alia with his hands around her. She even added a photo of Raha’s pink dupatta with her name embroidered. The post also featured two pictures of Alia and her sister Shaheen Bhatt joined by her pet cat in the photos. Her post read, “Diwali happy happy,” with lots of emojis.
Work-wise, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani with Ranveer Singh. Fans lauded Karan Johar’s directorial. She even appeared in the Hollywood movie Heart of Stone. Alia is now filming and co-producing Jigra. Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, is filming for his upcoming action thriller film Animal. It also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Tripti Dimri. The movie is expected to be released on December 1.
