Ajay Devgn Opens Up On Marrying Kajol In Viral Video, Says 'I Really Don't Know…' | Watch – DellyRanks

Ajay Devgn and Kajol got married in 1999.

Ajay Devgn revealed why he married Kajol and said that they share the same morals.

Ajay Devgn and Kajol are one of the most beloved couples in Bollywood today. Their fans love to watch their banter off-screen and appreciate their ‘opposites attract’ chemistry. However, Ajay Devgn had revealed that their morals and thoughts are quite similar. In an old interview, Ajay spoke about why he married Kajol.

Ranveer Allahabadia asked Ajay on his podcast, “Why did you choose to marry Kajol, your wife?” Ajay replied, “I really don’t know. I mean, we met, we got along very well and we started seeing each other without even proposing. Then, eventually, it was taken for granted that we will get married.”

“The thought process is also that our thoughts are similar and whatever we say, our morals and things like this, they seem to gel together. So it just went in a flow,” Ajay added.

Meanwhile, Ajay is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, Maidaan. Maidaan is based on football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, under whose leadership the Indian football team won the Asian Games in 1951 and 1962.

Ajay will be essaying the role of Syed Abdul Rahim to tell the story of this unsung hero who was responsible for taking Indian football to new heights and winning accolades for the country. The team at that time comprised illustrious players like Chunni Goswami, PK Banerjee, Balaram, Franco, and Arun Ghosh.

The film will clash with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s upcoming film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is all set to release on Eid. Meanwhile, Ajay was last seen in the supernatural film Shaitaan. It was released in cinemas on March 8 this year. The film also stars R Madhavan and Jyothika in lead roles. It was received well at the box office and is still running strong.
